Raney Nickel Electrode 

Raney Nickel Electrode is the core catalytic cathode component specially designed for AWE alkaline water electrolysis stacks, coated with activated Raney nickel catalyst on pure nickel mesh substrate for high-efficiency hydrogen evolution reaction (HER) under alkaline KOH electrolyte environment.

Product Features

Ultra-high specific surface area brings superior catalytic activity, greatly reducing electrolytic overpotential and lowering overall hydrogen production power consumption.

Outstanding alkali and high-temperature corrosion resistance, perfectly stable in 30% KOH alkaline solution under long-time continuous AWE electrolysis operation.

Slow performance attenuation rate guarantees long service life and reduces regular replacement frequency for electrolyzer stacks.

Cost-effective non-precious-metal catalytic material without platinum group metals, cutting total equipment investment of AWE hydrogen production system.
