Vanadium flow battery is an oxidation-reduction battery that uses vanadium as the active material and flows in a circulating liquid state. The electrical energy of vanadium batteries is stored in sulfuric acid electrolytes with different valence states of vanadium ions in the form of chemical energy. The electrolysis is hydraulically injected into the battery stack through an external pump, and under mechanical power, it circulates and flows in different storage tanks and closed circuits of the half cell. Proton exchange membranes are used as separators for the battery pack, and the electrolyte solution flows parallel to the electrode surface and undergoes electrochemical reactions. The current is collected and conducted through a dual electrode plate, This enables the chemical energy stored in the solution to be converted into electrical energy.
